The Elizabeth Bagshaw Women’s Clinic is a registered, non-profit society that is dedicated to the promotion of women’s welfare, health and reproductive autonomy.
We recognize that access to abortion is a cornerstone to women’s reproductive autonomy, and integral to the struggle of women to achieve the right to equality and autonomy over their lives.
We are committed to providing safe terminations of pregnancy, decision-making and reproductive counselling in a woman-centered, supportive environment of confidentiality and respect for women’s freedom of choice.
We continuously strive to maintain the highest standards of care for women.
We believe that our services to women must be available in a manner that respects the principles of comprehensiveness, universality, portability and accessibility as required by the Canada Health Act.
We believe that our services should be available to all women in accordance with the British Columbia Human rights Code.
