Our staff members understand that dealing with an unplanned pregnancy can be stressful. We will make every effort to help with your individual booking requirements in a timely manner. We appreciate your patience through this process.
Before booking your appointment:
Before making an appointment, we require that you have had a positive test result. A home test, a test at your doctor or at a medical clinic (walk-in or youth clinics) is acceptable. You don’t need to see a doctor before making an appointment, but if you do see one, please give us that doctor or clinic’s name when you make your appointment.
If you are not sure of your decision or need more information about abortion or other pregnancy options, you can schedule a counselling appointment free of charge at the clinic.
Booking your appointment:
If you are ready to make an appointment, you have two options: secure online booking or booking by telephone. Please only select one option. We are not able to book appointments in person or accept patients without an appointment.
To access our secure on line booking please use the following link:
We will respond to online bookings within 48 business hours, usually sooner. If you have not heard from us in two business days please call us (604) 736-7878 or toll free at 1 (877) 736-7171 or email us. To avoid confusion, we ask that you let us know if you have completed an online booking if you call the clinic.
Booking by Telephone
If you are in Metro Vancouver please call us at 604-736-7878 between 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, except statutory holidays. The clinic is open some Saturdays, as well. When booking your appointment by telephone:
Our administrative staff will answer your questions, take your health history and make your appointment. We need to speak to you personally.
If English is not your first language, we can arrange an interpreter for your intake. We will then book an interpreter for you, free of charge, when you come for your appointment.
It usually takes 10-15 minutes to book the appointment. Please be patient as our phone lines are often very busy. Monday is the busiest day of the week for the phone lines. Please have your BC Care Card number ready, if you have one.
Confirming your appointment:
You will be given instructions as to how and when to confirm your appointment. It is important to follow these instructions. If you don’t confirm your appointment as instructed, your appointment will be automatically cancelled.
